Tended combines innovative tech with behavioural science to create life-saving solutions
Founded in 2017, Tended is an award-winning deep-tech startup. We develop innovative solutions to address ever-evolving and complex safety challenges across working environments, helping to put an end to preventable accidents and fatalities.
In 2022, we launched our geofencing solution which combines wearables, behavioural science and high-precision positioning technology to improve worker safety. It can detect with centimetre accuracy whether workers have left safe working limits, alerting them to move back to a position of safety.
This solution is now being rolled out in the rail industry to help improve safety across high-risk work environments. Our clients include world-leading organisations, including Network Rail, Morgan Sindall, Siemens, RSS Infrastructure and AmcoGiffen who all use Tended’s technology to make meaningful changes to improve safety standards.
